About this Fundraiser
I have Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, an incurable cancer of the white blood cells that spreads through the lymph system. I recently lost my dear friend Chris, who battled treatment resistant breast cancer long and hard for years. In honor of Chris and the rest of my "Cancer Chicks"...I will dye my hair pink if we can raise $500 for cancer research by June 1st, 2010My 14 yr old son Seth will also dye his hair pink if we can raise $1,000 for cancer research by June 1st, 2010.My husband will also dye his hair pink if we can raise $2,000 for cancer research by June 1st, 2010. (He originally wouldn't dye his hair pink but was willing to shave his head. After much coercing from his co-workers he agreed to dye his hair pink with Seth and I!!)We need to find a cure and better treatment options for resistant cancers. This is our small attempt at raising some money and awareness for cancer research. Please help!Donations to Pink Hair Dare
