Do you know someone who is suffering from cancer? Of course you do…. Cancer touches everyone: our families, loved ones, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.
Here is why our mission is so important:
∙1500 Americans die every day from cancer.
∙1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will get cancer in their lifetime.
∙Cancer is the leading cause of death in children under 14.
∙An estimated 1.6 million Americans will be diagnosed with cancer in 2011.
On behalf of the millions living with cancer, please join The Gateway for Cancer Research℠ as we petition Congress to declare June as Cancer Survivors Month. By creating a month-long tribute to those living with cancer, we hope to increase awareness and increase funding to help find treatments and cures for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
