Ken was a wonderful man and a great gift to this world. His battle with cancer is an example for all of us about how to fight with courage and grace. Sadly, he left us on July 20, 2012... way too soon. I thank him for introducing me to The Gateway for Cancer Research and for bringing such joy to the world. You will be missed friend.

July 26, 2012 will mark the 10-year anniversary of my stem cell transplant - the day I was truly reborn and given a second chance! I celebrate this 2nd Birthday every year, and am constantly amazed at how many wonderful things have happened in the past 10 years. My donation is in honor of all of those who have bravely fought this disease, but especially in memory of two friends who also underwent transplants but lost their battle. They remain an inspiration to me.
