It only takes one strong voice to lead many, and if you’re passionate about raising funds for cancer treatment innovations, YOU could be that voice. Here, The Gateway offers you the chance to create unique pages where friends and family can visit and make a donation to your cause. If you’ve formed a team of people to raise funds, you can create a page that will make it easy for you to facilitate by organizing your efforts and keeping everyone connected.

Creating a page is a great way to share your story and inspire others.

How to create your page

Creating a page is a snap: Write a few sentences about your cause and explain why people should donate; upload a photo to show visitors who you are (or to whom the page is dedicated); create your unique page; and publicize the page by emailing a link to your contacts or sharing it on Facebook and Twitter.

By creating a page at The Gateway website, you make it easy for friends and family to donate. They know who’s gathering the funds, and where the funds are going—you don’t have to worry about collecting money and mailing it to The Gateway because it's all taken care of for you. Whether you meet your goal or not, 99¢ of every dollar received will be directed toward research focused on saving lives now.

There are four different kinds of pages:

  • Memorial – Create your own page in memory of someone you love. Personalize your page in any way, and share it with others.
  • Innovators – Is there a specific treatment innovatorSM whose work you admire and want to support? Are you a treatment innovatorSM with a great idea in need of funding? Creating a page is a great way to direct attention to that study.
  • Fundraising – If you’re hosting an event and donating the proceeds to The Gateway, a page is a great way to publicize your efforts—and raise funds from those who can’t attend but still wish to contribute.
  • Personal –Are you looking for a way to raise funds and share your story? Create a personal page and share it with your family, friends and more.

"Treatment InnovatorSM" is the term we use for researchers funded by The Gateway for Cancer Research: the men and women we support in their search for better treatments and cures that can help cancer patients TODAY.
